Recently, Dixin participated in the geotechnical investigation for new high-speed railway projects in Shaanxi Province, deploying its DYLC-20 crawler-mounted Static Cone Penetration Test (SCPT) rig alongside a specialized dual-bridge SCPT and seismic wave velocity probe combination. Confronted with the complex geological conditions characteristic of lines such as the Xi-Shi, Xi-Yan, and Xi-Kang routes-including collapsible loess and fault-fracture zones-the DYLC-20 demonstrated exceptional adaptability. Leveraging its crawler chassis, the unit features self-propulsion and self-loading/unloading capabilities, allowing it to navigate with ease across rugged mountain access roads and the undulating terrain of loess ridges and mounds. Furthermore, its rated penetration force of 250 kN enables it to effectively penetrate deep, hard soil strata, thereby providing efficient and stable in-situ data support for deep-level geotechnical investigations.
Regarding data acquisition, the dual-bridge SCPT probe manufactured by Dixin simultaneously captures cone tip resistance and sleeve friction. This capability allows for the precise delineation of alternating layers of cohesive and granular soils, furnishing reliable parameters essential for pile foundation design. Concurrently, the integrated seismic wave velocity probe collects shear wave velocity data, which is utilized to evaluate site seismic performance-a process of critical importance for analyzing loess liquefaction potential during earthquakes and for the seismic-resistant design of tunnels. Working in tandem, these two components enable the simultaneous acquisition of both mechanical and physical geotechnical parameters, thereby significantly enhancing the reliability of geological interpretation.
Currently, this vertically integrated solution-encompassing everything from the penetration platform to the probes-is operating stably on the front lines of the Shaanxi high-speed railway investigation projects, contributing precise data backed by "Made in China" quality to support the construction of major national infrastructure projects.
